Our History
Desiderata Ranch, a farm located at the border of Boulder County and Larimer County, was founded in 1981. Over the years, it has been the birthplace of a family, seen children and grandchildren grow up, and been a refuge for those in need.
In 2013, Desiderata Ranch was almost completely destroyed by the catastrophic flooding that affected a large part of Colorado. Since then, we have restored and rebuilt much of the farm landscape, constructed a new barn event space, and opened our doors to WWOOFer's (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms).
In addition to organically growing produce for sale at our farm stand, Desiderata Ranch is also a beautiful event venue. The farm property is an amazing venue for those looking for a wild and natural or groomed and landscaped outdoor venue. It is perfect for weddings, parties, senior pictures, retreats and so much more.

The simplest way to find us is to Google "Desiderata Ranch": that brings you right to us!
We are on County Rd 2, just east of Blue Mountain Ave. in Berthoud. You will see the sign for our farm at the entrance to the driveway. There is a farm stand at the gate. Orders are left in the red cooler unless other arrangements have been made.
